About Madeleine
Hi! I’m Maddie. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, I’ve called Pittsburgh, PA home for the past nine years. I enjoy contributing to media and have been featured in EatingWell, Forbes, Medium, and MSN. For over eight years, I’ve provided nutrition and breastfeeding education to pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children. As a registered dietitian and lactation counselor, I support families with prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, baby-led weaning, spoon feeding, allergen introduction, special diets, weaning, picky eating, and more. I also focus on autoimmunity, shaped by my personal experience with reactive arthritis and osteoarthritis, using evidence-based nutrition strategies to support symptom management and well-being.
Approach to care
I take a holistic, individualized approach to care, focusing on realistic, measurable, and sustainable goals tailored to each person. I believe progress shows up in many ways—both physically and emotionally—and I emphasize celebrating small wins, practicing gratitude for your body, and supporting you as your biggest cheerleader.
Your first session with Madeleine
During our first session, I’ll get to know you—your history, your relationship with food, any medical or family health considerations, and what you hope to achieve with my support. I’ll be here to guide you, but your insights and direction will drive the process.
